Alepp Soap

Strategy + Design + Development (Shopify)

Project collaborations:

Alepp Soap was a creative endeavour that combined the talented branding of The Duck’s Guts, and photography of Christopher McConville, Jessica Tremp & Lauren Bamford.

Alepp engaged Beagley to create an eCommerce experience for their imported Aleppo Soap, of which 100% of profits goes to funding for Melbourne refugee initiatives. The brief was to create a simple store that emphasised the quality & social good of the product.

We used content architecture & wireframing to streamline a consumer's experience and chose a minimal restrained design language to highlight the earthy quality of the soap.

Solution:

To deliver a bespoke store that didn't break the budget, we reallocated the budget to UX&UI (away from development) & leveraged low-code tools to engineer the final solution.

Building the front-end in Webflow & importing the code into Shopify, we delivered a tailored Shopify theme in a fraction of the time & a sliver of the cost.
